For commercial operations—whether a auto repair shop, a retail storefront, or a bustling restaurant—closing your doors for renovations means lost revenue. When it comes to floor upgrades, traditional epoxy systems can take 3 to 7 days to fully cure, forcing businesses into costly operational shutdowns.
With Poly Shield Coatings, you don’t have to choose between durable flooring and keeping your business open. Our fast-cure polyurea and polyaspartic systems allow for 1-day installation with full return-to-service in 24 hours.
The True Cost of Commercial Downtime
When calculating the cost of a commercial floor installation, the price of materials is only part of the equation. You must also account for:
- Lost Daily Revenue: Income missed during closed days.
- Employee Payroll: Paying staff during operational lulls or losing hours.
- Customer Disruption: Forcing regular clients to seek alternative vendors.
Standard commercial epoxy requires hours of wait time between coats, followed by a multi-day curing period before heavy foot traffic or machinery can touch the surface.
Fast-Curing Science: Ready in 24 Hours
Polyurea and polyaspartic technology cures through a chemical reaction rather than simple evaporation, resulting in rapid bond strength:
- In 24 Hours: The floor is dry and ready for light foot traffic.
- In 48 Hours: The floor is fully cured and ready for heavy foot traffic, forklifts, vehicles, and equipment.
We can step in on a scheduled off-day or weekend evening, prep the slab, apply the coating, and hand your keys back before your next business shift starts.
Built for Heavy Commercial Demands
Fast installation doesn’t mean sacrificing performance. Polyurea coatings are 4 times stronger than traditional epoxy, resistant to heavy impact, oil, chemicals, and intense foot traffic.
